We are located in Marahau at the southern end of the Abel Tasman National Park which is renowned for its golden beaches, sculptured granite cliffs, and its world-famous coastal track. The track starts at Marahau and Totaranui and also provides access to the Inland track system. We have a mild climate and is a good place to visit at any time of the year. At 22,530 hectares Abel Tasman is New Zealand's smallest national park. It's located at the top of the South Island; the nearest towns are Kaiteriteri, Motueka, Takaka and Nelson City.
There are regular and on-demand bus services to Marahau from local towns and from Nelson as well as a launch and water taxi services based in Marahau.
